This amazing Yellow Sapphire is of laboratory origin and obtained by hydrothermal method from natural corundum. In simple terms, the hydrothermal method is a process in which natural minerals (in this case corundum) get a second chance by being reborn anew in interaction with those elements that give them their famous delightful color, and which were absent in nature at the time of their initial crystallization. For this reason, stones obtained by the hydrothermal method do not (and cannot have) any difference from stones found in nature. The only difference is the age of the stone and the price, which is approximately 100 times lower than natural stones for the simple reason that stones of this quality are very rare in nature (and their mining process is risky and expensive), while our sapphires are produced in industrial quantities in the laboratory.
